Chlorine pools can irritate the eyes and leave skin feeling dry and itchy after swimming. The solution is salt water conversion. Salt water conversion is not like swimming in the ocean. There is not an overpowering amount of salt. The salt water has a smoother feel, it won’t irritate the eyes and leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. Studies have also proven that salt water can also help with skin problems such as eczema, acne and psoriasis. There is also no chlorine smell in a salt water pool.

Filters and pumps are needed to keep your pool clean. They both must work together to keep the pool clean. There are three types of filters from which to choose. 1) There is the sand filter, which uses sand to clean the water. It needs to be backwashed every week, and will use half an inch of pool water in the process. 2) The DE filter works with DE powder to clean the pool. It needs to be backwashed every four weeks, and more DE powder needs to be added. 3) The cartridge filter doesn’t need much maintenance, just a backwash at the end of the season.

We use Hayward, Pentair and Sta-Rite filters, and repair and replace filters and pumps.

Our company  repairs, replaces and installs pool heaters and pumps. We use Repack heaters and Hayward pool pumps.

There are two types of heaters: natural gas and propane. Both can heat up the pool quickly, and will last 10 to 16 years.

A heat pump works with air and electricity. It intakes warm air and transfers it to heat the pool. It takes much longer to heat the pool with a pump. It is usually used between May 15 to the end of September in New York. If you want to keep your pool open after September, we recommend using a heater.

Every pool needs to have a cover to protect it from the winter elements. Pool covers are made to be durable but over time they may need repair, or you may need to replace your cover. We partner with Meyco to get the best pool covers for our customers. Meyco is one of the best pool cover manufacturers. Their covers are designed to let water drain through the cover and catch the debris. They also won’t fade over the years even though exposed to sunlight. Meyco covers come in different colors and fabrics.

We have over 17 years of experience in tile repair and retiling. We repair coping as well.

Acid wash is usually needed when a pool has not been opened for a couple of seasons or the cover has been left off the pool. When all the debris just sits in the pool, the pool gets very stained, and the only way to remove such heavy stains is acid washing. After the pool is acid washed, it will be clean, look great and ready to be filled.

When you paint your pool it looks great, but after a while it starts getting chalky and it starts falling off. It ruins the look of your pool and makes the water cloudy. A new coat of paint will last about four years. It is also important to paint your pool on a sunny day so it can dry faster.

Different types of soil, lack of moisture, erosion and tree roots can cause cracks in your pool. We repair cracks in the walls or floor of the pool. We can also install new drains for the pool.

Our company can repair or install new skimmers. We are also able to install new skimmer lines, return lines and new main drain lines.
